The flow rate regulation in the working section is smoothly realized without disturbing the fan's nominal regime.
The stand is fitted with a special dosing device supplying standard quartz sand which serves as dusting agent during the tests.
Hydraulics characteristics, cleaning rate, absorbing ability of the air filter, filters and filtering elements could be investigated using the stand.
The stand permits calibration of throttle flowmeters, determination of the local resistance coefficients of pipelines and fittings.
